About this Event
The story of Scrim, a little dog with a big desire for independence, captured New Orleans' hearts and is now making an impact on our literary scene. Books and stories about Scrim have been popping up throughout 2025, and Words & Music is excited to bring you the newest addition to the growing list of Scrim tales.
Join us as author Margaret Orr and illustrator Matt Rinard discuss Scrim My Tail: As Told to Margaret Orr. Margaret brings her decades on WDSU to her faithful reporting of Scrim's story, and Matt brings the details to life through his whimsical artwork.
This is a Literature & Lunch session; ticket price includes a lunch buffet by Seasons of Louisiana.
