Literature and Human Rights seminar series: Sally Hayden book launch

Join award-winning journalist and author Sally Hayden for the Galway launch of her new book, This is Also a Love Story, in conversation with Professor Pat Crowley.

The event launches the Literature and Human Rights seminar series, a collaboration between the Irish Centre for Human Rights, the Centre for Law, Religion and Society, and the School of Languages, Literatures and Cultures at the University of Galway.

In This is Also a Love Story, Hayden explores love, care and human connection in times of war, displacement, crisis and inequality. Drawing on stories from across the world, the book asks how crisis might be understood differently when seen through the relationships, commitments and acts of care that sustain people through it.
