Literati Bookstore Genres Book Club

Welcome to the Literati Genres Book Club! Each month we will meet to discuss a book (novel or short stories) from a different genre, alternating between Sci Fi, Fantasy, Horror, Mystery/Crime Fiction and Romance. Come to the month featuring your chosen genre or, hopefully, come to them all! Each month your hosts --Clare, Sabina, Skye and Gwen-- will select what we think is the most exciting example of each genre currently and we hope to surprise you with superlative reading experiences, books new to you and to us. When we can, we will select titles that blur the boundaries between genres --Sci Fi noir, Horrific romance? Cli Fi, Speculative dystopian?-- to see creative work being done at the intersections that challenges our expectations for the genres, for fiction and offers new ways of envisioning reality. We hope to see you there!
