Maisy Card is the author of the novel These Ghosts Are Family, which won an American Book Award, the 2021 OCM Bocas Prize in fiction, and was a finalist for the PEN/Hemingway Award for Debut Novel, the Center for Fiction First Novel Prize, and the LA Times Art Seidenbaum Award for First Fiction.

De'Shawn Charles Winslow is the author of The Fervent Whites, Decent People, and In West Mills, which was a Center for Fiction First Novel Prize winner, an American Book Award recipient, a Willie Morris Award for Southern Fiction winner. It was a finalist for a Los Angeles Times Book Award, Lambda Literary Award, and Publishing Triangle Award. He was born and raised in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, and graduated from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. He currently lives in New Jersey.
Roberto Carlos Garcia's work has been published widely in places like Poetry Magazine, NACLA, Poets & Writers, The Root, and others. Garcia is a 2023 New Jersey State Council of the Arts Poetry Fellow and the author of five books. Four poetry collections: Melancolía (Cervena Barva Press, 2016), black / Maybe: An Afro Lyric (Willow Books, 2018), [Elegies] (Flower Song Press, 2020), What Can I Tell You: Selected Poems (Flower Song Press, 2022), and one essay collection, Traveling Freely, (Curbstone Books / Northwestern University Press 2024). Garcia is the founder of Get Fresh Books Publishing, a literary nonprofit, and has edited and published over 25 books. He is an English professor at a NJ college. 
Dr. Moiya McTier is an astrophysicist, folklorist, and science communicator based in NYC. After graduating from Harvard with the school’s first ever joint degree in astro and mythology, she went on to be the first Black woman to earn an astronomy PhD at Columbia. Now Dr. Moiya shares her knowledge through podcasts like her cozy space-focused Pale Blue Pod, shows like PBS’s Fate & Fabled, and books like The Milky Way galaxy’s own autobiography. Dr. Moiya loves fantasy books, her two cats, and shit-talking generative AI.
Her new book, Mothers of Invention: A History of Creativity from the Greek Muses, is "A rollicking, enlightening examination of humanity’s changing relationship to creativity, written from the perspectives of the Greek Muses."
