To celebrate World Book Day, we are hosting a literary costume contest! Come dressed as a book character, introduce your costume to a panel of local community judges, and potentially win a gift card! Registration required.Contest Details:
Categories
• Kids (0-15)
• Teens/Adults (16+)
Prizes
• 1 winner per category gets a gift card
*Must remain in the library during judges’ deliberation to be considered for a prize*
Schedule
• Sign-in starting at 3:30pm
• Contest begins at 4:00pm (kids group, then teens/adults group)
• Contestants will be asked to present their name, character and book name, and why they chose that character to judges
• Browse/activity stations while scores are tallied
• Winner announcements/prize presentations/group photos
