10 hour Tutor Training Workshop to become a volunteer literacy tutor for adults.

LVA, Essex and Passaic Counties offers free instruction to adults in ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) and Basic Literacy. We are currently seeking volunteer tutors to work with small groups of 3-5 adult learners on a weekly basis, with a minimum commitment of one year. No teaching experience is required as our volunteers will complete a 10-hour training to prepare for their role.
