Join us for a deep listening & Get Out the Vote canvass workshop. Whether you've knocked on doors or you're brand new. We’ll incorporate practices from UC Berkeley’s Othering & Belonging Institute. The Listening Speaks Volumes workshop teaches an engagement method designed to build trust and connection across deep social, racial, and ideological divides.
The goal is to listen and understand, through curiosity and meaningful conversation. Participants will learn how to bridge “us-versus-them” divides and remind community members that their voices and votes matter!
Join us at 5:30 for a complimentary spaghetti dinner (with salad, garlic bread, drink, and dessert). Workshop is from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
