Upcoming Training Opportunity – Duty Driven Deterioration
Yakima County Department of Corrections is proud to host an upcoming Duty Driven Deterioration training presented by Law Enforcement Coaching.
Public safety careers can take a significant toll over time—not only professionally, but physically, mentally, emotionally, and at home. This five-hour course is designed to help participants recognize the four phases of Duty Driven Deterioration, identify warning signs, develop stress-response strategies, strengthen support networks, and create practical plans for addressing each phase.
The training is open to all public safety professionals—sworn and non-sworn—including law enforcement, corrections, fire, EMS, dispatch, co-responders, animal welfare, mental health professionals, and their families.
Tuesday, October 13, 2026
8:00am to 1:00pm
$375 per participant and spouses may attend at no additional cost
We are excited to bring this training opportunity to Yakima and continue supporting the health, wellness, and longevity of those who serve our communities.
