About this Event

Listening session #2: Early Music Lab

Fonda barroca

On September 18, we are very happy to welcome two wonderful musicians to Studio HPSCHD for our "Listening session #2: Early Music Lab": Felipe Egaña Labrin on transverse flute and Esteban Lobos Dellepiane on soprano and bass viola da gamba.

Their programme, Fonda Barroca, brings together Baroque music by Georg Philipp Telemann, Michel Blavet, Jacques-Martin Hotteterre, Antoine Forqueray and songs arranged by the contemporary composer and poet from Chile, Violeta Parra.

And there is a wonderful coincidence: both musicians are originally from Chile, and September 18 happens to be Chilean Independence Day. So, quite unexpectedly, Fonda Barroca will take place on a particularly fitting date!

We look forward to welcoming you to the studio!
