Marmalade and Listening Room are two popular jam series in Toronto that bring the music community together to play and improvise the sounds of Jazz, Fusion, and Neo-Soul respectively. For these special nights, Davie Studios will host a crossover mega band to jam around the innovative music of Thundercat! Thundercat is what some may consider a musician's favourite musician. His artistry is a cosmic jam between Funk, Hip Hop, Jazz and R&B. For these jam sessions we'll be working our way through his extensive catalog and pulling not only his original songs, but also his featured work with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Flying Lotus, and Anderson Paak, to name a few. As Marmalade is our charitable jam of Davie Studios, we will continue our efforts to raise money for Palestine Children's Relief Fund. The PCRF provides much needed humanitarian aid and medical services to children in Palestine living through the ongoing genocide. In addition, the PCRF continues to rebuild destroyed medical infrastructure that is required to treat Palestinian patients.
