About this Event
We’re creating a geolocated LGBTQIA+ sound walk in Lincoln, rooted in the stories, memories and connection to place, and we’d love you to be part of it.
Join artist Bec Smith (Urban Projections) and CJ De Barra for a free, relaxed workshop.
Whether you’ve got a story to tell, a place that means something to you, or you’re just curious to see what happens.
Two sessions are available — choose the one that suits you when you book:
• Morning session: 11:00am – 1:30pm
• Afternoon session: 2:30pm – 5:00pm
Location: Studio X - Lincoln Arts Centre, Lincoln
What you’ll do:
• Explore personal stories, memories and connections to place through sound, conversation and simple prompts
• Record short audio snippets and experiment with turning them into small pieces of writing and sound
• Learn light-touch digital skills — recording on a phone, basic transcription
• Contribute to a collaboratively created zine and the wider sound walk
The trail is part of Reimagining Lincolnshire, produced by Threshold and made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
