This event brings together a professional audiobook narrator and two bestselling authors — and we can't wait to hear their conversation about audiobooks and storytelling! Come hear author Marybeth Whalen in conversation with narrator Jane Oppenheimer — moderated by author Ariel Lawhon.

About Marybeth Whalen:
Marybeth Mayhew Whalen is the author of Every Moment Since and nine previous novels. She earned a BA in English with a concentration in Writing and Editing from NC State University and is the co-founder of The Book Tide, an online community of readers where “a rising tide raises all books.” A native of Charlotte, she now lives in Sunset Beach, North Carolina, with her husband Curt and their six children, who are in various stages of adulthood.
About Jane Oppenheimer:
From literary fiction to romance and biographies, Jane Oppenheimer’s narration style and honest characterizations have earned her Earphone Awards and nominations from the Society of Voice Arts and Sciences. A graduate of Carnegie-Mellon University with a BFA in Theater, she has performed in theater, television, and film across New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and her voice can be heard in museum installations, commercials, corporate videos, and theme park rides. She is the voice of Sybil in The Correspondent by Virginia Evans. When she’s not in the booth, she works in real estate.
About Ariel Lawhon:
Ariel Lawhon is an award-winning, bestselling author of historical fiction. Her books have been translated into over forty languages and have been Good Morning America and One Book One County selections. She lives in the rolling hills outside Nashville, Tennessee, with her husband and four sons. Ariel splits her time between the grocery store and the baseball field.
