Listen To Me - Documentary Film Screening
About this Event
Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of truth, storytelling, and community.
Sunday June 14th at 3pm
Speed Museum Theater, The Kentucky BIPOCU Film Association, Ed Hamilton Studio & Visitors Center and Black Birth Justice proudly present a special screening of Listen to Me. Directed by Stephanie Etienne and Kanika Harris, Listen to Me is a powerful documentary that centers the voices, experiences, and realities of Black women and birthing people.
Through intimate storytelling, the film explores birth, healthcare, advocacy, and the strength of community in the face of ongoing maternal health disparities. This is more than a film screening, it's an opportunity to listen, learn, reflect, and engage in critical conversations about birth justice and reproductive equity.
Mark your calendars, invite your village, and join us as we amplify stories that deserve to be heard.
