Five years ago my mom Lisa started making easter baskets for kids in need. Lisa was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. She continued to do the baskets in hopes to show that no matter what cards life dealt you , you still help when u can. In August 2021 Lisa passed, but before she passed we talked about keeping the baskets going and she made me promise to continue to to stay involved in ministries that her and I have both enjoyed doing. So her grandkids and I(daughter) have decided to continue to do her Easter Baskets to keep her ministry going. Lisa's Easter Surprise will be done each year with hopes to make it bigger then following year. 2020 we did 66 baskets , 2021 we did 75 2022 we handed out 115 and 2023 we handed 30 2024 we listed track on how many were handed out .Many of the items have been donated by friends and family . Baskets will be handed out until gone. Kids have to be present to receive. The egg hunt will be at 12pm and baskets right after.
