If you’ve been into the blues scene in Boise for a while, you’ve probably enjoyed seeing renowned Portland blues bassist Lisa Mann perform with her band here before, but this time around she’s bringing her blues supergroup of veteran rhythm & blues musicians from the Pacific Northwest, the Northwestern All-Stars, with her – and what a show that will be!The Idaho Blues Society is excited to bring Lisa and the Northwestern All-Stars to the Riverside Hotel’s Sapphire Room, Friday, April 10.
Lisa is well-known for her expressive singing, formidable bass playing, and strong songwriting. Lisa Mann’s Northwestern All-Stars is her collaborative live band project — a regional blues all-star ensemble she assembled that has recorded and toured internationally, especially with its tribute to classic women blues artists.
