The Eau Claire Evening and Elk Mound Lions Clubs are co-hosting an Oktoberfest fundraising event featuring Live Entertainment, Food, Ice Cold Beverages, 50/50 Drawings & Raffles to support the Wisconsin Lions Camp for youth and adults with disabilities. The camp is centrally located in Rosholt, WI and is in its 68th year of providing quality free-of-charge camp experiences. Cost: $10 per person
Attendees can look forward to enjoying bratwursts, currywurst, pretzels, and a selection of local craft beers. There will also be games, contests, and live performances to keep everyone entertained throughout the day.
Live Music Schedule:
• Rhythm Play Boys: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
• Crimson Theory: 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM
A minimum of 40% of the net proceeds from this event will go to Wisconsin Lions Camp. 100% of all remaining profit will go to community service projects of the Eau Claire Evening and Elk Mound Lions clubs.
About Wisconsin Lions Camp:
Specialized camping sessions are scheduled for blind or visually impaired, deaf or hard of hearing, youth with intellectual disability or autism, youth with diabetes and youth with epilepsy. The camp can house an average of 150 campers from Wisconsin per week. The property is 440 acres in size and has 37 buildings and a 45-acre private lake. The goals of Lions Camp are to assist each child in the development of self-confidence, interdependence, social skills, outdoor recreational skills and environmental awareness; most importantly, for the child to have a fun, safe, memorable experience.
