L'Insectarium présente La nostalgie du papillon Malgache

Assistez gratuitement au spectacle de Claudia Chan Tak, artiste multidisciplinaire formée en arts visuels et en danse et lauréate d’une résidence d’artiste offerte conjointement par l’Insectarium et le Conseil des arts de Montréal, au tout nouvel ESPACE TRANSMISSION.

Dans son projet chorégraphique, La nostalgie du papillon malgache, Claudia a voulu creuser ses origines et comprendre le pays de ses ancêtres (Madagascar) à travers le prisme des insectes, en amplifiant leur beauté. La proposition conjugue installation, mouvement et projection vidéo. Le public pourra d’ailleurs découvrir la démarche de création de l’artiste avant le spectacle à travers une installation documentant son processus.

See this free show by Claudia Chan Tak, a multidisciplinary artist trained in visual arts and dance, and winner of an artist residency offered jointly by the Insectarium and the Conseil des arts de Montréal, at the new ESPACE TRANSMISSION.

In her choreographic project, Nostalgia for the Malagasy Butterfly, Claudia aims to explore her origins and understand the country of her ancestors (Madagascar) through the prism of insects, whose beauty she magnifies. The proposal combines installation, movement and video projection. Before the show, the public will also get to discover the artist’s creative process through an installation.
