Join Linocut Printmaker, Tina Hagger who will show you how to create your own handmade black and white linocut prints.
About the event
You will be taken step-by-step through the process to make your own linocut prints, including planning a design, mark-making, carving with control, inking up and hand-printing your design with a baren or wooden spoon, plus you will have the opportunity to try a small Press. You will be able to take the linoprints you create home with you and you will also be given hints and tips on the materials and tools to buy to continue linoprinting at home.
Details
The workshop will be 11am-3pm.
The use of all tools and materials is included within the price of the workshop.
It is unlikely you will get ink on your clothes, but if you should it is also unlikely it will wash out, so please bear this in mind when deciding what to wear on the day of the workshop!
