LINOCUT | Carved & Pressed with Margrethe Aanestad
Advertisement
Join us for an evening of linocut printmaking in this workshop for adults with artist Margrethe Aanestad! Linocut is a relief printmaking technique using linoleum blocks, which are carved with gouges, inked with a brayer, and pressed onto paper, creating a mirror image of your carving that flips text and orientation. In this class, we’ll explore the technique, using any direction to create our own artworks.
This workshop is part of "Carved & Pressed," a 3-session series focused on printmaking using various mediums; the class may be experienced individually or as part of a progression, with 3-session bundles available.
All materials are provided. No prior experience is required. (18+)
