Join printmaker and illustrator for a relaxed and welcoming lino printing workshop for adults, where you’ll design, carve and print your own artwork by hand.

For those drawn to the devilish, macabre and otherworldly. As Samhain/Halloween marks a time when the boundary between our world and the next is said to grow thin, we’ll delve into the darker corners of folklore and history. Think tales of witchcraft, mysterious creatures, unexplained happenings, devils, and the strange and unsettling figures that have haunted folklore through the ages. A chance to explore the eerie through printmaking, surrounded by like-minded creatives.

You’ll be guided step-by-step through the full lino printing process, from transferring your design to carving safely and confidently, before inking up and pulling your final prints by hand. During the workshop, you’ll learn helpful tips and tricks to help you make the most out of the lino printing process, and will have access to professional-grade tools and materials.

Inspiration images will be provided on the day, but you’re very welcome to bring your own ideas if you’d like to personalise your design. Your finished artwork will fit to either 148x105mm (A6) or 210x148mm (A5), so if you’d prefer to sketch beforehand, please ensure your design fits within those dimensions.

Light refreshments will be provided - with vegan options. Please let us know in advance if you have any severe allergies that we should be aware of.
