LinkUp Sanctuary
What is this?
LinkUp Sanctuary is a calm, welcoming community space centered on rest, real conversation, and support. It’s not therapy and it’s not a meeting you have to “perform” in. Think: soft landing, shared space, and brothers who get it.
Who should come?
• Black SGL, gay, and bisexual men
• Folks who want community without substances
• Anyone navigating stress, isolation, faith questions, or just needing a break
• You don’t need to be “sober forever” to come—just sober that day
What to expect:
• A relaxed, judgment-free vibe
• Time to talk, listen, or just be quiet
• Light structure with room to opt in or out
• Peer connection with people who respect boundaries
• Access to LinkUp staff for support, resources, or referrals if you want them
No pressure. No fixing. No explaining yourself.
Good to know:
• This is a safer, sober space (no drugs or alcohol during the event)
• Come as you are—late arrivals are okay
• You can participate as much or as little as you want
When: 2nd Saturday of every month, 2–5 PM
Why it matters: Because rest and care are part of life
If you’ve been carrying a lot, this space is for you.
