Join the BADA Friends in the City of London at the relatively new premises of global law firm Linklaters. Here the offices and public spaces feature a wide-ranging collection of modern and contemporary artworks—focusing primarily on abstract paintings, sculptures, and drawings, curated by Catherine Shearn who will be our guide for the evening.
The focus of the collections is on Modern British and contemporary abstract paintings, sculptures, and processes exploring artistic connections. The whole collection contains approximately 1500 works in all, and notable artists include Barbara Hepworth, Terry Frost, Anthony Caro, Rana Begum, Rebecca Salter, and Eva Rothschild.
We won’t be viewing all the collection during the evening, but guests will see a wide-ranging selection of the artworks and Catherine Shearn will be explaining to the group the ethos behind this varied and interesting top-class collection.
