We are thrilled to bring Linford D. Fisher to The NewSouth Bookstore for a talk about his new book, Stealing America: The Hidden Story of Indigenous Slavery in U.S. History. It’s a magisterial account, which offers a stunning reorientation of Continental history, laying bare the story of the theft of Native lands and bodies by colonial settlers and their consequences for Native nations.
