Our Lines & Light series continues as we build on the foundations introduced in March and begin bringing drawings to life through light and shadow.
In Month Two, we’ll move beyond simple forms and start applying shading techniques to everyday objects, helping you understand how light interacts with real surfaces.
This session will focus on:
🍎 Observational drawing basics
💡 Identifying light sources
🌓 Creating realistic highlights and shadows
🖌 Building depth and dimension with blending
You’ll practice techniques through guided exercises and complete a finished study designed to strengthen your confidence and observational skills.
This series is designed for creative growth — not perfection. Each month builds gently on the last while still welcoming newcomers who want to begin their drawing journey.
