In this installment of the Lindy Technique and Teacher Training Workshop Series we plan cover roughly 25 steps including the swingout, post-2000s swingout, sugar push and variations, circle, original double tuck timing along with a number of jazz steps and rhythm, rhythm exercises. We'll also talk about the differences between social dance , show dancing and competitive dance and why we need all three to have a dynamic Lindy scene. And if you're interested you can create a plan for your school, community group or studio and have initial lessons ready by the leave the event is over. The Program covers both authentic jazz and partner dancing sills.
Location for Thursday night will be announced to registrants. Friday and Saturday will meet at Good Shepherd Faith Presbyterian Church, 152 W. 66th St., NY, NY.
