My Goddaughter Meghan and her husband Kyle’s 3 yr old son Lincoln was recently diagnosed with cancer (Embryonal Rhabdomyosarcoma). A diagnosis that nobody ever wants to hear. This is going to be a long and difficult road for them. Treatment consists of weekly trips to Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor for 10 months or more. His mother Meghan has left her job to provide care for her son.
This tournament and event is to help alleviate some of the financial stress that is facing this family’s future. The disc golf community including Brian Evans/Disc Golf for a Cause, Brent Guest/Above Par, many other leagues, family and friends are all coming together from far and wide to volunteer their time to put on this large event. There will be door prizes, lots of raffles, bake sale, putting challenge and more. Please come and support this family that has done so much for others and are now in a time of great need.
