There comes a point where a local walk becomes something much bigger.
For many of us, Lincoln Hike Club has become more than just a place to go walking. It's become a community, a place where friendships have been built, confidence has grown and people have achieved things they never thought were possible.
Now it's time for the next chapter.
The Lincoln Hike Club Ultimate Adventure Series (UAS) has been created for those who dream of taking on bigger challenges. Whether that's your first mountain in the UK, standing on the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, trekking to Everest Base Camp, exploring the Atlas Mountains in Morocco or joining one of many adventures we have planned for the years ahead, this is where those journeys begin.
This evening is your opportunity to discover exactly what the Ultimate Adventure Series is all about.
We'll explain why we've created it, where Lincoln Hike Club is heading, and how we're making these once in a lifetime experiences achievable for ordinary people.
One of the biggest misconceptions about adventures like these is that you have to already be incredibly fit or experienced.
You don't.
What you do need is the commitment to prepare.
That's why every Ultimate Adventure will be supported by training walks, preparation events, guidance, kit advice and a team around you that genuinely wants to see you succeed. Our aim isn't simply to organise expeditions. It's to help people become the kind of person who believes they can achieve them.
During the evening we'll reveal our planned adventures, explain how each expedition works, cover expected costs and timelines, discuss the preparation involved, answer your questions and show you how you can register your interest for future trips.
Whether you're simply curious, looking for your next challenge or have had a lifelong dream sitting on your bucket list, we'd love you to join us.
