Join Orange Audubon as we travel to some of the best birding locations in Florida. With local birders as our guides we will explore several of Gainesville’s top hot spots during the peak of the winter season. Past rarities have included: Fox Sparrow, LeConte’s Sparrow, White- Throated Sparrow, Henslow’s Sparrow, Vaux’s Swift, Black-Chinned Hummingbird, Rufous Hummingbird, Calliope Hummingbird, Stilt Sandpiper, Ruff, Golden- Crowned Kinglet, Rusty Blackbird, Winter Wren , Nashville Warbler and Wilson’s Warbler. The cost of $95 for OAS members or $125 for nonmembers includes two full days of guided birding and one lunch. Participants will make their own arrangements for accommodations. Limit 14 participants.
