Liminal Space

“Heaven and Earth are only 3 feet apart, yet in thin places that distance is even smaller” (Celtic proverb)

This workshop is meant to explore these “thin places” where the barrier between earthly and spiritual realms becomes porous, allowing for greater spiritual connection. This can happen in nature, at ancient sites, or in everyday life. Liminal space and time are those places and moments when we feel ourselves to be on the threshold of something, in transition, in an “in between” place. We will remember and discuss those times when we have experienced a sense of communication between the temporal and eternal, the sacred and secular, heaven and earth. How do these moments create opportunities for spiritual insight? Come and explore!
