Triple Bill! Limelight, Scribbens and The Goomahs live at the PG Legion on March 7th! Three of PG’s greats teaming up for a night of surf rock, pop, post-punk, stoner rock, and alt. rock! So excited to have these two acts on one bill. Time to party.Limelight is a three piece band that was formed in the spring of 2024 in Northern BC, featuring Aquiles on guitar and vocals, Jun on bass and backup vocals and Alex on drums. Here you can find a groovy mix of psychedelic pop, post punk, stoner rock and a hint of shoegaze with pop melodies.
The Goomahs blend styles from different genres and artists, including surf rock, alt-rock and rock, and take inspiration from artists such as Arcade Fire, Mac DeMarco, the Smiths and the Strokes. Their music can range from slow, thoughtful and melodic to upbeat and grungy, transitioning well between the two. The Goomahs’ sound is reverby and pulsating, and well mixed, allowing each member’s musical talents to shine through their songs’ melodies.
Scribbens is a post-punk trio with loads of energy and thoughtful poetic lyrics. The band brings a rhythm all their own to the stage always leaving audiences wowed and amazed.
