LIMAGS has sponsored an annual gem, mineral & fossil show during the last weekend in July since 1982.
Over 30 dealers of fine gemstones, jewelry, fossils, minerals, meteorites and related items are displayed from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
In addition to the dealers, we also have Geode cracking, activities for kids, such as a scavenger hunt, gem and mineral specimens, coloring, and looking at microscopic minerals. You can also join LIMAGS at the membership table.
The last entry is at 4:30. Entrance is $8.00 per person. With a flyer, post card or digital entry, entrance is $7.00 per person. Flyers will also be available for printing from our website. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.
In addition, this area is in the middle of Long Island’s wine country with over 40 wineries along the North Shore. Many restaurants are found along Main Road (Rte. 25) throughout the area. The show is close to many other area attractions in the Riverhead area. These include Tanger Outlets shopping, Atlantis Marine Aquarium, Splish Splash Water Park, Riverhead Raceway, fine dining, destination farm stands, Long Island Sound/Atlantic Ocean beaches, fishing, north shore kayaking and excellent golf courses.
The Rte. 58/25 commercial corridor and Downtown Riverhead has numerous restaurants, shopping opportunities, and hotel facilities.
