In honor of American Heart Month, the 4th Annual Lima Women Have Heart event will take place on February 21st, 2025, at the City Club located at 7 Town Square, Lima, Ohio, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. This special event aims to raise awareness about heart health, provide valuable information, and empower women to take charge of their cardiovascular well-being. The event will feature presentations from local physicians, who will discuss critical topics related to heart health, followed by a heart-healthy lunch. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in a heart-related art activity designed to inspire creativity and deepen the focus on heart health.
Lima Women Have Heart is open to women of all ages and provides a unique opportunity to engage with health professionals, connect with others, and learn how to make heart-healthy choices. This event underscores the importance of prevention, education, and community support in combating heart disease, which remains the leading cause of death for women in the United States.
The Lima Women Have Heart Luncheon is sponsored by the City of Lima, Mercy Health- St. Rita’s, Lima Memorial Health System, Health Partners of Western Ohio, ArtSpace/Lima, and the Lima Women’s Leadership Collective.
Space is limited so we encourage attendees to RSVP. Tickets are $10 per person.
