This is the story of Lily-Eva
When a little girl wakes up on her 9th birthday it should be from excitement but for Lily-Eva it was different.
Knowing something was very wrong her parents took her to get checked The doctors did some tests, did some scans and very soon told them what they had found. On her 9th birthday Lily-Eva was given a cancer diagnosis.
That was the 8th of September 2024 and since then Lily-Eva and her family have had to travel the hardest road of their life. Intensive chemotherapy, radiotherapy, blood transfusions, operations, procedures that would be hard for an adult to cope with let alone a small girl. As the weeks and months have passed the effects of the treatment have taken their toll and yet, despite this, she continues on like a warrior princess!
How can you still smile, laugh, love when you are sick and your body hurts? Ask Lily-Eva because, despite it all, she's doing it!
When her chemo treatment began Lily-Eva was told that her beautiful long hair would fall out and when this started to happen, she made the brave decision to do something for other children dealing with hair loss. She made the choice to have her head shaved so that her hair could be saved and used to make a wig for someone else. She also raised £2000 for the Princess Trust in the process...What a girl!!
Now we want to do something special, not only for Lily-Eva, but also for her parents Jordan and Shannon and for her big brother Charlie. They are all in this fight together and when the war is won they will all be weary from the battle. Let's give them something to look forward to!
Please join us in supporting our fundraiser and lets make sure that when brighter days arrive and Lily-Eva beats cancer, they can take some time away on holiday to recover, reenergise, just breathe and be the happy, carefree family they were before cancer.
Any additional money raised will be donated to the Cancer charities that have been supporting the family.
