The school holidays are upon us, and our weekly volunteer session is becoming a kid-friendly activity day in the garden.
Join your kids for seed sowing, sowing potatoes in sacks, and a taste of freshly-harvested sugarcane to learn more about where our food comes from!
All ages and stages welcome. Kids must be accompanied by an adult (minimum 3 kids per adult if coming with a group).
Gardening isn't always tidy, so make sure you (adults and kids alike) are wearing something you don't mind getting a bit dirty. Dirt is all part of the fun, right?
BYO water bottles. We'll provide fresh fruit but feel free to bring along snacks and other kai to share.
Free of charge. Hosted by the Dignan St Community Garden crew and volunteers.
