Like a BOSS-A: Celebration of Women Writing Jazz

This intimate showcase brings together some of Nottingham’s most dynamic female jazz artists like Ellie Kennedy, Jeanie Barton, Davina Songbird, Natasha Thompson, Anya Aujla-Jones, and special guests, for a night of soulful sounds and genre-bending compositions.

Set within the atmospheric Mezzanine Gallery at New Art Exchange, currently exhibiting Heather Agyepong’s “From Sunrise to Sunset, She Worker to Reform herself”. The event celebrates women’s voices in jazz - bold, nuanced, and unapologetically authentic. Expect originals, improvisation, collaboration, and musical storytelling at its finest.
