Lightning Bug Hike

Did you know that Indiana's state insect is the lightning bug? Join us on a night hike at Ruble Park to see the lightning bugs in all their glory! There are 43 species in Indiana, how many can we find in one hike? This hike is a night hike, beginning at 9:45pm from the West Ruble Parking Lot on S Cullen Place. Flashlight or headlamp are required. Please wear long sleeves/Pants or bug spray as the mosquitoes are bad. The hike will be roughly 1.5 miles long. Youth under 18 must have an adult accompany them.
