You're invited to experience the wonder and magic of the holiday season at the 2024 Lighting of Wake Forest on Friday, December 6, 2024!
This year's ceremony will feature the lighting of the Christmas tree and Santa's exciting arrival.
There will be an opportunity to write your letter for Santa provided by Wake Forest Woman’s Club, a sweet treat sale by Polka Dot Treat Shop, and a chocolate sale by Make Room for Dessert LLC.
There will also be musical performances by local choral groups.
Nothing Bundt Cakes of Wake Forest will also be in attendance passing out free samples!
Location, Date, and Time:
The festivities take place in Centennial Plaza in front of Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., and on Owen Avenue on December 6, 2024, from 5 PM to 8 PM.
Dining Options:
The following food trucks will be in attendance: Not Just a Fry Guy, Arepa Culture NC, NOMAD Beverage Company, and Little Halos. Please also explore the list of dining options from our Downtown establishments on the Town of Wake Forest website (search "experience downtown").
Parking:
- Free parking is available along several side streets and parking lots in Downtown Wake Forest.
- Handicapped parking will be available in the Town Hall parking lot directly across from Piedmont Federal Bank, previously known as Wake Forest Federal Savings and Loans.

PLEASE NOTE - Some parking lots may appear to be public, when in fact they are private. Read all signage in the parking lot to determine what type of lot you are using. Private lots are intended for business patrons only.
