This winter solstice, come sing, dance, move, or just be with Out of Doors and Rebecca Sathre on the darkest night of the year as we celebrate the release of our new single, In the Dark, and start the new solar cycle with a sense of power and control over our lives.
This night is a cosmic turning point, and we want to share it with all the infinite, luminous creatures of light — the curious, the seekers, the intentional, the spiritual, the unassuming… you.
We’ll take time to reflect.We’ll practice letting go.We’ll remind ourselves that not every problem needs to be solved tonight, or ever.Sometimes it’s enough to sit in the dark and trust that the light is just beyond the horizon.
We’ll say our quiet prayers together, whatever that means for each of us, as we honor the darkness and the light.
With the joy of live music, gentle flow, dance, trataka meditation, and a few journal prompts, we’ll reconnect to the spirit of light, the part of us that knows how to keep going and the part that remembers.
We’ll name the things we’re ready to bring out of the shadows.We’ll soften our grip on the stories that keep us small.We’ll remind ourselves that we’re allowed to grow, shift, open, and shine in new ways, especially on nights like this.
This night is about returning.Loosening.Feeling what’s real. Moving a little.Singing a little.Breathing a little.Belonging a lot.Leave with your light warmed, heart opened, and a more awakened you.
