Light Up The Night with YAK N SUP @ Canyon Lake, AZ
Event Description: Experience the magic of a glowing night on Canyon Lake with our "Light Up The Night with YAK N SUP" self-guided rentals. It will be an unforgettable evening on the water, where you can paddle under the stars and light up the night with your very own LED Moon and glow stick pack.
Event Details:
Time: 6 PM to 9 PM
Price: Single Kayak or Paddleboard: $80 Tandem Kayak or Paddleboard: $160
What’s Included:
Four-hour rental of a single or tandem kayak/paddleboard A glow stick pack to keep YAK N SUP will provide an LED Moon for each customer to use with their rental
Itinerary:
6:00 PM - Check-in: Arrive at YAK N SUP inside the floating gas dock and check in for your rental. You'll receive your glow stick pack and a rental LED Moon for your kayak or paddle board.
6:15 PM - Launch: Launch into Tortilla Creek for pre-sunset exploration. Enjoy the serene environment as you paddle through the creek.
Pre-Sunset Exploration: Explore Tortilla Creek and take in the beautiful scenery. Remember, Tortilla Creek can only be paddled before sunset.
Sunset Paddle: As the sun starts to dip below the horizon, all customers must paddle into Boulder Recreation, a non-motorized area. Turn on your LED Moon and activate your glow sticks to light up the night.
Post-Sunset Return: Once the sun has set, paddle within Boulder Recreation. Note that Boulder Recreation is the only approved area for paddling after dark.
8:40 PM Start Heading Back
9:00 PM - Return: All participants must return from Boulder Recreation to the YAK N SUP launcher by 9 PM. Enjoy the glow of your illuminated kayak or paddleboard as you return.
Important Notes:
*Paddling in the main lake is not permitted during the "Light Up The Night with YAK N SUP" event.
*Ensure to paddle into Boulder Recreation once the sun goes down for safety.
*Tortilla Creek can only be explored before sunset.
For Friends with Their Own Equipment: If you have friends or family with their own equipment who want to join you, they can park and launch from Boulder Recreation Site. Marina parking and boat ramp are not available. Please coordinate your plans to meet them at Boulder before your arrival. Note that Canyon Lake has limited cell service.
