Children need a hero-Be one
We are gearing up for Light up the Capitol again this year (a child abuse prevention event). Last year was awesome and we are working to make this year even better. We will have free T-shirts ( for adults) and we are asking the kids to dress as their favorite hero.
No worries, if you don’t have a costume for the kiddos. We are also giving away free capes and masks. So all the kids will be able to enjoy dressing up in superhero fashion. The capes and T-shirts are pictured below. Supergirl will be with us again this year and so will Mini-Mouse. We are recognizing local hero’s this year. So I ask all of WV hero’s ( police, fire, military, EMS , teachers, medical workers and community leaders) to come out. Let’s all stand together in unity for abused children. We shine brighter when we stand together. Come join us on April 25th at 7pm on the Kanawha Blvd. steps at the WV State Capitol.
