Come and celebrate in downtown Elkin during our annual LIGHT UP ELKIN holiday event! Each year we pick a new area in downtown to LIGHT UP, Santa arrives, and we have a full night of late night holiday shopping, hayrides, train rides, dancing entertainment, live music in retail shops, holiday market vendors set up in various locations, sweet tooth zone and food trucks, live nativity, fund raisers, and so much more!! The Elkin library will start off the night beforehand with early bird holiday events for the kiddies, after 3:30 pm.
Stay tuned for more details. Santa will be arriving for the light up ceremony that starts at 6pm, across the street from 222 E Main St. We'll have the Lords & Ladies of Lights and lots of holiday characters for the kiddies, plus tons of photo opportunities around the entire downtown.
Additional parking will be provided with hayride transports to downtown from nearby schools.
