We warmly invite you, your family and friends to join us at St Michael’s Hospice for a special Light up a Life service of remembrance.
Light up a Life is a chance to come together with others who understand the experience of grieving the loss of someone special.
At the service, candles will be lit, each representing a life, a memory and someone who will always hold a special place in our hearts. Together, we will take time to reflect, remember and celebrate those we love and miss.
This inclusive and beautiful service will feature music, readings, refreshments and moments of quiet reflection.
Everyone is welcome, regardless of their connection to St Michael’s Hospice. You can attend on your own or with family and friends, and the service is suitable for people of all ages.
Following the service, you will have the opportunity to view our Book of Remembrance and spend a little more time remembering your loved one. There will also be an opportunity to write a message on a wooden tree decoration, which you can place on our tree or take home with you.
The service is free to attend, but if you are able to make a donation, your generosity will help St Michael’s Hospice continue providing loving care and support to local people and families this Christmas.
