Light the Way: A Night for the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse

On Friday, August 7th, we will gather for an unforgettable summer evening in support of the Friends of the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse.
The night begins with a pre-boarding happy hour at The Northman Beer & Cider Garden at 6:00 PM, followed by a cruise aboard Chicago’s First Lady’s Emerald Lady at 7:00 PM.
The evening will feature beautiful lakefront views, silent auction items, a live auction, a paddle raise, and a chance to come together in support of one of Chicago’s most iconic landmarks.
This annual fundraiser raises critical funds for the rehabilitation, preservation, and future public opening of the Chicago Harbor Lighthouse. Your support helps us move closer to preparing the lighthouse for restoration, safe access, future public tours, educational programming, and long-term stewardship.
For those who would like to make an even greater impact, sponsorship opportunities are still available. Sponsorship support helps offset the evening’s costs, allowing more of the funds raised during the event to directly support our mission.

If you have been thinking about making a special commitment to the restoration of this Chicago Landmark, now is the moment to step forward.
Please bring your spirit, your generosity, and your commitment to helping us move this mission forward. During the silent auction, live auction, and paddle raise, we will invite our friends and supporters to help make a meaningful impact at this second annual event.
The Chicago Harbor Lighthouse has stood watch over the entrance to Chicago’s harbor for generations. It has welcomed ships, protected mariners, guided sailors, and served as a quiet symbol of Chicago’s connection to the Great Lakes.
Today, we have the opportunity to write the next chapter.
Together, we can Light the Way.
