Light the Night - Solstice CelebrationSunday Dec 21 from 4 to 6 pm at Mount Seymour United Church, 1200 Parkgate Ave, North Vancouver
At the darkest time of the year, we gather to celebrate the return of the light and the completion of our labyrinth and sacred garden.
Join us and bring your family and friends as we light the labyrinth with candles and welcome anyone to walk, reflect, create, and share in simple crafts and refreshments.
This sacred space has grown over time, from a prayer wall and winding stone pathways, to rivers of rock surrounding the church, and a quiet grove of trees with benches for rest and reflection. In the spirit of putting the land back right, the garden includes Indigenous plantings from the Tsleil-Waututh Nation’s nursery at the Wild Bird Trust.
These spaces are more than a garden, offering room for quiet, healing, and hope in a world that deeply needs all three.
