🌟 Light The Night 2024 🌟Join us on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at Forest Park-Cricket Field, 5595 Grand Drive, St. Louis, MO 63110, for a heartwarming evening of celebration, remembrance, and community spirit. From 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, we will come together to shine a light on the fight against blood cancers.
🚶♂️ Event Highlights:
- Kids Zone: Fun for all ages with face painting, balloon twisting, bounce houses, button making, poster decorating, and more!
- Lantern Pickup: Registered participants can collect their lanterns at the Lantern Tent.
- Food Trucks: One Dish Wonders, Wok-O-Taco, This N' That Eatery, Doughboys Wood Fired Pizza, Honey Bee Tea, Sugarwitch
- T-Shirts & Incentives: Raise $100+ to receive a t-shirt. Fundraise $1,000+ to become a Bright Light with exclusive performance access, a long-sleeve shirt, VIP Pavilion passes, and event recognition!
- Opening Ceremony & Walk: 7:30 PM (1-mile walk)
- Laser Light Show following the end of the walk*
Parking Information:
- Polar Bear Lot (attached to Berthold Parking Garage)
- Penguin Lot (6212 Oakland Ave, St. Louis, MO 63139)
- Lemar Lot on Berthold Avenue
Access these lots via the Hampton exit on Highway 64. We will have additional shuttles to help with traffic. The visitor lot next to Cricket Field is first come, first serve; please reserve these spots for ADA parking if possible. Thanks to the St. Louis Zoo for their support!
💡 How to Support:
- Donate & Fundraise: While cash/checks aren’t accepted on-site, you can make donations via smartphone. Other donations can be sent to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Lower Plains Region, P.O. Box 772395, Detroit, MI 48277-2395.
Accessibility: We strive to make the event accessible for everyone. We will have an ASL Interpreter during the ceremony. If you need ADA accommodations or have specific requirements, please call us at 888-557-7177 in advance.
