Light the Lights - Winter Festival - 2026

CityCenter Danbury in partnership with the City of Danbury is proud to announce our Annual "Light the Lights-Winter Festival" on the Green (1 Ives Street). Come and enjoy Downtown Danbury's own 40' holiday tree!! This free event, open to all, we be held on Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Downtown Danbury will be transformed into a Winter Wonderland, with fun festivities for all ages!
Danbury's Mayor, Roberto Alves, will do the official “light up” of downtown, and Santa will arrive by fire truck, so don’t forget your camera for this magical photo opportunity! Come out and enjoy some holiday shopping from various vendors.
The Salvation Army will be on hand to spread extra cheer with delicious hot chocolate, cookies, and soup for all to enjoy. We will also have the highly anticipated fire truck parade, which is an evening highlight! Guests can enjoy holiday music, live entertainment, and more. Join us as we light up the city for our 2026 holiday season!
