Light Party 2026

Crafts and games for children aged 3–11, tea, coffee and cake for parents and carers, then a short talk and hot dogs for everyone.
About this Event

Jesus tells us that He is the Light of the World. We believe that the Light is so much better than the darkness - the Light is worth celebrating.

The Light Party is for children aged 3-11 and their grown ups.

The Light Party will look something like this:

• 6pm - Doors Open. Children will be shown to the hall for fun, games and crafts. Parents will be invited to enjoy tea, coffee, cake and time to get to know other parents in our parent cafe.
• At About 6:50pm - We will all gather together for family-friendly songs, games and a short talk about Jesus being the Light of the World.
• At about 7:15pm - We will all head back into the hall for hot dogs.

We think it will be a great evening and hope that your family will be able to join us.

We want as many people as possible to come along and so this event is free of charge - but we do ask that you book tickets. Tickets only need to be booked for children coming to the event.

Please note:

• Everyone involved in caring for children at the event holds an up-to-date DBS check and has completed appropriate safeguarding training.
• For every child, we ask that at least one responsible adult stays at the event for its duration.
