Vanaf het vroege commerciële succes van de Ierse band in 1995 tot de tragische dood van zangeres Dolores O'Riordan in 2018, waren The Cranberries muzikale revolutionairen, die de typische jaren 90-sound bepaalden die iedereen tot op de dag van vandaag kent en herkent.
Light By The Sea neemt de bezoeker mee terug in de tijd met de kracht van geluid, geïnspireerd op de legendarische “Live In Paris (Beneath The Skin, 1999)” set van The Cranberries. Daarnaast voegen ze hun favoriete tracks toe aan de al rijkelijk met hits gevulde setlist. De Hongaarse zangeres Eszter Anna Baumann werd in haar jeugd getraind in verschillende folk-competities en ontdekte al snel de overeenkomsten tussen enkele Hongaarse en Ierse folk technieken.Het betoverende stemgeluid van Dolores O'Riordan en de combinatie van Ierse folk & rock, gaven The Cranberries de kans om tot een van de meest iconische acts uit te groeien. Het is een grote eer voor Anna en Light By The Sea om de muziek van deze unieke zangeres opnieuw ten gehore te brengen. En die legacy will Linger On Forever.
The Cranberries brought a unique voice to rock music and left a lasting artistic legacy. From the Irish band's early commercial success in 1995 until singer Dolores O'Riordan's tragic death in 2018, The Cranberries were musical revolutionaries, who defined the typical 90's sound that everybody is familiar with.
Light by The Sea is willing to take the listeners back in time with the power of sound, focusing especially on The Cranberries' legendary Live In Paris ( Beneath The Skin , 1999) set while adding their special favorites to the rich setlist. Hungarian singer Eszter Anna Baumann was trained in several folk music competitions in her childhood, and she even then discovered the similarities between some Hungarian and Irish folk singing techniques. Dolores O'Riordan's beguiling voice gave The Cranberries an edge that made them one of the most iconic bands of all time, combining influences of both Irish folk and rock music. It is a big honor for Anna and for Light By The Sea to aim to evoke this unique singer's music, whose legacy will linger on forever.
