Light & Shadow is a solo piano recital that moves between clarity and darkness, elegance and grief, searching and letting go.
Scarlatti opens with the restless elegance of the Baroque. Liszt descends into the darkest grief of Romanticism. Schubert follows the soul that searches for something it cannot name. Ravel closes with a nostalgia that never quite resolves.
Dídac Barber Aluart trained at ESMUC Barcelona and The Hartt School (USA), studying with distinguished pianists including Paul Badura-Skoda, Vitaly Margulis, Luiz De Moura Castro, and Oxana Yablonskaya. He has performed across Europe, the United States, and Asia.
