In the days approaching October 31st, legend has it that the veil between the earthly plane and the spiritual world becomes very thin, meaning the two realms collide, and it is easier for spirits to cross over and walk among the living, and easier for the living to walk in the spirit world.
What is the Veil? The veil is a belief or perception that we are separate – separate from the spirit world, the world filled with angels, guides, loved ones and guidance from our higher self.
Lore has it that it is easier to commune with spirits around this time, making it the perfect opportunity for you to connect with the guidance and insight of your guides, angels, ancestors and loved ones on the other side. It’s also a time when our intuition is heightened.
Halloween is not a holiday to be feared, but explored. We see Halloween as a great opportunity to have a mystical experience and to welcome the unknown. It’s a good time bring a little extra magic into everyday life.
Halloween is also a celebration of darkness… a darkness that represents the unknown, the void, the subconscious mind, the realm of intuition, and all we cannot logically see or comprehend.
By going into an induced trance meditation through sound, we are able to reach our awareness beyond the veil and perceive things that are out of this world. The sound, frequency and vibration from the gongs and other instruments will work to entrain our brainwaves into the deeper meditative states so you have the ability to embrace this opportunity.
The spirit of Halloween also holds deep spiritual significance about the many masks we wear in our daily lives. On this night we will also seek to clear away blockages that tend to mask our highest self. On this night you can also take time to give a little extra thought into the darker things that are always hiding within and use this nights energy to cleanse the outdated parts of yourself so that they may be unveiled.
